Teachers Education University, Chennai, the following criteria must be fulfilled:

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science)
B.A. (Bachelor of Arts)
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)

Minimum Marks Requirement
Open Category (OC): 50%
Backward Class (BC): 45%
Most Backward Class (MBC): 43%
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) and Physically Challenged 40%

Age Limit
There is no age limit for candidates applying to the B.Ed. program.
We encourage candidates of all ages who meet the academic qualifications to
apply.

Subject Specialization Requirement
Candidates seeking admission to a particular optional subject for the B.Ed.
course must have studied the same subject at either the Undergraduate (UG) or
Postgraduate (PG) level.
A pass in the relevant subject is the minimum requirement for eligibility.
This ensures that candidates have a fundamental understanding of the subject
they intend to teach.
