The curriculum of the B.Ed. program is structured under the CBCS (Choice-Based Credit System) pattern, offering a balance of core and elective subjects that ensure the holistic development of the teacher candidates. The program is divided into semesters to systematically cover all aspects of teaching and subject expertise.
These include foundational subjects on pedagogy, psychology, curriculum development, classroom management, and assessment strategies that are common for all B.Ed. candidates.
Students choose electives based on their specialization (e.g., Tamil, English, Science, Mathematics, History, Computer Science, or Engineering). These electives are tailored to enhance the teaching skills specific to each subject.
